Bob Fleming Quartet - Sax em HI-FI (1958)

Hello, Good Evening! Autumn in Rio de Janeiro was the coldest on in the last 40 years. I do not remember cold temperatures such like these on May. This is a major problem for zecalouro and for the first time I had to place a heater on his room, this should be the first night with this artificial heating. Perhaps I will move to his place if the house gets colder in the middle of the night. Today we had a lot of fun with another album from one of our favorites and I could not resist showing to Loronixers.

This is Bob Fleming Quartet - Sax em HI-FI (1958), for Musidisc, pretty old and good Bob Fleming album, his second LP for Musidisc and the second all time release by this fictional sax player, which is the legendary Moacyr Silva. Bob Fleming Quartet personnel is not credited, but I could hear the touch of Chaim Lewak on piano, the others - bass and drums - are not identified. Perhaps they are credited on first Bob Fleming Quartet album for Musidisc, Um Sax Espetacular. If someone has this LP, we appreciate to have this information. Bob Fleming Quartet performs a repertoire based on American Jazz standards, very nice for a cold Sunday night. Tracks include:

- Manhattan (Rodgers / Hart)
- I Get a Kick Out Of You (Cole Porter)
- Over The Rainbow (Harold Arlen / E. Y. Harburg)
- Who (O. Harbach / O. Hammerstein II)
- I Won't Cry Anymore (A. Frisch / F. Wise)
- An Affair To Remember (H. Adamson / L. McCarey / T. Chandler / H. Warren)
- Cheek To Cheek (Irving Berlin)
- Stormy Weather (Harold Arlen / T. Koehler)
- Love Letters In The Sand (J. F. Coots / N. Kenny / C. Kenny)
- My Funny Valentine (Rodgers / Hart)
- Because Of You (A. Hammerstein / D. Wilkinson)
- Almost Paradise (N. Petty)
